Hue is a real experience!
Sam and Dean second floor of our Hotel
Some school kids
We are now at Hue, just below the DMZ... that's the demilitiarized zone in the war.... It's the originalsite of the government of Vietnam.. over the river in an ancient city.. we go past are yet to find time for a visit.. our present mode of transport is bike.. it's a lot of fun and the motor bikes etc give way pretty well and only travel quite slowly. It's a nice change of pace from Ha Noi and we've started our project at the Hue school for handicapped children.. playing with kids, painting and doing whatever they need.. it's hard thru the translation, but we are getting there.

Back at Hanoi just about to head south..
Today we went to Ho Chi Minh s muasilium... filed past his body with the masses.. really serious stuff. Then down to an old jail where the French kept prisoners and later American pilots were kept.. interesting
No photos allowed near Uncle Ho, but got some as we caught up on history... Also dinner last night..

Sapa, after Fansipan
Well we all survived, and not only that, we all made it to the top of highest mountain in Indoasia!! The climb was not easy, lots was almost rock climbing with a pack! Team members generally took a big pack and a day pack between them, and had porters carry the extra sleeping bags etc, but the tough ones carried all their own stuff, as porters already had lots, food water(ours) and all food. The food was unreal... cooking in those conditions is very clever, but making it so good - so much more so.. we always left food behind, they gave us so much! Veiws were spectacular, making us thank ful for the great weather So I'll give you a small taste..
Sleeping at 2800m..below 0!!
At the top
breaky at 2200m yum!
2800m camp...not as warm as it looks
All done!!!
